Thanks for providing some context about a country whose name many on social media have casually invoked as an example for America to perhaps follow. There are no doubt important differences between citizen attitudes about public health and distinct health care systems. Ours seems particularly ill-suited for a pandemic. As does having a variety of groups of people in small enclosed areas and without PPE. My guess is Sweden doesn’t have for-profit prisons and immigrant detention centers with minimal incentives or capacity to protect people.
