Promoting community health includes keeping athletes and coaches safe. As a CrossFit coach in Portland, Maine, this topic is super relevant. My box is starting outdoor classes next week, with special spacing and disinfecting protocols in place. Putting a bunch of people intensely exerting together indoors seems reckless based on the available research. Thanks for this solid review of challenges we're facing. As for

"You can't assume that simply because something is now allowed, it has also been deemed safe."

This could apply to a lot of things in the world, starting with several of the POTUS's lifestyle choices. Not working out, eating lots of fast food, and hooking up with a porn star without a condom (allegedly) is some poor role modeling.
