I don't hate Musk. I just think he's an egotistical d-bag looking to amplify his ideas and those of similarly-minded people in the guise of elevating "free speech." This article didn't change those perceptions, but perhaps another will. This one mainly impressed on me the idea that he likes to be the boss. Which wasn't that important to me, but it does make sense based on his apparent style of going with his gut, advertiser revenue (especially at Twitter/X) be damned.
