Agreed that in this crisis continued inaction is generally more expensive than learning from steps taken by other far more successful countries.

It's tough not to view the GOP with extra cynicism after watching politicians and pundits line up behind a POTUS with not moral compass or clear skills other than to direct a crowd's anger and frustration at vulnerable populations.

Republicans seem to care about mental health for pure political expedience. The same could be said for child safety (in regards to trans rights) and the federal deficit (for non-military spending). And I would add basic government competence to your list of things that would help both mental and economic health. Corrupt fuckery is destabilizing.
